30 Days to go…
When we left Minnesota about 7 years ago, we knew that God was preparing us for something that we would not likely learn within the comforts of the place we called home. As we embarked upon an adventure that could only be attributed to the call of God, our faith was ignited into action by sheer necessity. With each move (5 in all 😊) we continued to be further distanced from anything we had known, both literally and metaphorically. Every transition required a new level of faith, a deeper abiding in God. We look back and can see how God was inviting us to unearth who He created us to be by peeling back all the layers that covered up the treasure within. Having gained greater insight into who we are individually and collectively we were recently facing another impending transition as we looked to move from our current rental. After concerted prayers it became clear that God was inviting us back to the place we called home, back to where our story began, back to Minnesota.
Even as we are preparing to make this move on December 21st, Focus and Vision Ministries is already gaining traction. We know that there is a plethora of opportunities for growth and collaboration awaiting us in Minnesota as we continue to successfully offer our services remotely!
As we make this transition here are specific ways to pray for us:
Pray for safe travels from Oklahoma to Minnesota
Pray for a smooth transition for the kids to their new school
Pray for a place for Michael to get his clinical continuing education hours for chaplaincy
Pray for Michael’s return to the Minnesota National Guard
Pray for discernment in ministry opportunities and collaborations
Pray for the planning and execution of all the details involved in moving
Today marks the 30-day countdown until we leave! With this mind, we are asking for your financial support specifically in these next 30 days to help transition us to Minnesota. We are in need of $7500 (75 people giving $100 or 100 people giving $75 or any other combo you can think of 😊) to cover remaining living and upcoming moving expenses. No amount is too big or too small! Over this last year we have seen God show up through people’s generosity and we are grateful.
God has made it especially clear to us in the last year the reality of Joshua 1:9:

For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
