About Us
Michael and Katie Rivera
Co-Founders
Focus and Vision Ministries was co-founded and is co-led by Michael and Katie Rivera. Michael has held multiple leadership and management positions. He has served in the military and in ministry for the last 20 years. He holds a Master's of Divinity from Luther Seminary and is currently serving as a chaplain in the Army National Guard. Additionally, he is both a Clinically Certified Chaplain and a Chaplain Professional Educator. Katie holds a Master's in Counseling Psychology and a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Bethel University. Katie has also led in several ministry capacities over the last 15 years within the local church, jail population, and independent ministry groups. Michael and Katie have been married for 17 years and have 2 children, Tre (age 11) and Esther (age 10).
